PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS
NOMINATE DESERVING MEMBERS
Dear Fellow Members of USAS:
Every year before the annual USAS conference, members like you nominate exemplary colleagues, friends, and or acquaintances that have shown dedication and excitement towards the development and future of aquaculture in the US. These awards are given out yearly at our annual meetings to the best and most active and/or accomplished members of the aquaculture community whether from academia, government, or industry.
Please take a moment to identify those aquaculture champions that have made a difference and fit into these prestigious awards. We request nominations for outstanding members that are deserving of these awards, as described below. All nominations must include three (3) letters of recommendation that address the specific contributions of the nominee corresponding to each award’s criteria and a 1-page summary of the nominee’s biographical information. Submit your nomination to the current President-Elect.
The deadline for submitting a complete nomination packet will be announced annually, typically in summer or fall.
Thank you in advance for your time and effort to help a distinguished member be honored for their dedication and outstanding achievements. You will find the most recent award winners here with past awardees here.
